Festivals and celebrations are an integral part of life here, as well as everywhere. There are religious festivals, such as the day of the patron saint, also the ox-cart parade you see in another page, and the Entrance of the Saints, where images from churches all over the area are paraded through town on the shoulders of parishioners, accompanied by singing, into the Cathedral, where they will spend a weekend then go back to their respective churches.

Fiestas
Once a year, for 10 days in December, there is the secular festival, with rides, restaurants, bars and discos, all set up temporarily in a field in town, fun for all the family.

Thrills and Chills
There´s roller coasters, mechanical bulls, the hammer, and other fun rides for the kiddies.

Food and Drink
Variety of foods are offered, and every tent has different music, making a fun atmosphere.

Cotton Candy
What festival is complete without popcorn and cotton candy?
